“Shrek” Rules—“MacGruber” Bombs

It’s not officially summer yet, but the kids have already taken over the movie theaters. “Shrek Forever After 3D” opened with a $72 million weekend, taking the #1 slot at the box office. This isn’t quite up to previous “Shrek” films, but that could be due in part to the $20 ticket price. “Iron Man 2” held down the #2 slot with a $26 million weekend, bringing the film’s total to $256M. Following were “Robin Hood,” “Letters to Juliet” and “Just Wright.”
The weekend’s biggest disappointment was “SNL”-based action comedy “MacGruber,” which brought in only $4.1 million. I can’t imagine why anyone would greenlight a film based on lame “SNL” sketches that sent viewers out for bathroom breaks when they could watch them for free. At least we’ll be spared “MacGruber 2.”

Check out actress Hilary Duff looking great on the set of her latest film, “The Business of Falling in Love.” The first thing that comes to mind when I hear the words business and love in the same sentence is the oldest job in the books, prostitution. However, I don’t think that’s what Hilary Duff’s movie is about. I would tell you more about the movie, but it’s Friday, so I will let you research that over the weekend kind of like some new age, fun homework. Hilary Duff looks good, though.

Amber Heard Gets Leggy

Actress Amber Heard attended the premiere of her latest movie “Zombieland” in Los Angeles earlier this week. Amber arrived in this stunning white dress, showed a whole lot of leg, and looked great in black high heeled shoes. I don’t expect this movie to be “Gone with the Wind,” but it could be a good flick if you are looking to waste some time and perhaps are drinking heavily with some friends, in which case it would be an awesome movie. Of course, Jen looks good again today and although not a surprise, it is appreciated. However, all these hot photos from the set of “The Bounty” are really making me start to question the substance of the movie. Sure, we are going to see loads of Jen, but is that what they are using to market the movie? I’m thinking the plot might be pretty thin, but so is Jennifer Aniston’s shirt. Coincidence, I think not!

We typically see photos of supermodel Gisele Bundchen all glammed up and looking like a million bucks. Let’s face it, even candid photos of this celebrity look really good. This photo set today shows Gisele minimized with very little glam and very little, if any, make-up and she still looks like a million bucks! It’s like Gisele Bundchen photos unplugged–and she still rocks them! I, however, have no clue why this set of pictures were taken. Maybe she is still working on her portfolio? Highly unlikely, but you can still scout her out.

Here is Kristen Bell looking pretty hot in the promos for Couples Retreat. Honestly, I’ve never heard of it, but even the pictures that don’t contain Kristen in a bikini look good. That might make me go see the movie. Eh, perhaps not, but I did just make a break through. I actually paid attention to pictures that don’t contain bikini clad hotties. That doesn’t mean anything because I find myself staring at the pictures of Kristen Bell in a bikini more than the others, but it’s good to know that I’m not that superficial. Oh yeah, I am.

Ashley was in Twilight and was taking a break from New Moon in these photos, and she really does have a good bikini body. I got to see the movie with my significant other, and while it wasn’t horrible, I had no idea that Ashley was THIS hot. That makes me sad that I pretended to sleep through it. I guess I’ll probably get another chance to get Ashley Greene, and hopefully she’ll be wearing a bikini!

Jennifer Aniston wore a backless red dress at filming for her new movie, The Baster. Yes, the movie sounds as stupid as I think it will be. The actress looks pretty good in this dress. It’s a shame that a beauty like Jennifer has so much trouble with men and relationships. Perhaps if she had dated me when she had the chance (that dream I had the other night), Jennifer Aniston would be a whole lot happier…and more naked.
